Susan's Story
Susan has spent a lifetime exploring what it means to lead, to listen, and to grow. Her almost forty-year career with Delta Airlines carried her across continents and through countless chapters of change. Mergers, reinventions, and new beginnings taught her the art of resilience. Later, her work with Coca-Cola and the Department of Homeland Security deepened her belief that real leadership begins with authentic conversation.
Over the years, Susan became a sought-after facilitator and coach, guiding people to find common ground and connection in workplaces and communities alike. Her curiosity about human connection inspired her to create the organization, !CLICK! and to write Connectivity Matters: The Art of Connecting Online and Offline and the recent memoir, Take the Blue Line to Wonderland.
A lifelong learner at heart, Susan holds certifications in Dream Coaching, DISC, Situational Leadership, and Whole Brain Business Thinking. But her greatest lessons have come from people themselves: colleagues, friends, and strangers met along the way. She has served on community boards, chaired international exchange programs, and led dialogues that bridge cultures and perspectives.
When she isn’t teaching or traveling, Susan tends her garden, works on her podcast, Joie de Vivre: The Antidote to Burnout, practices French and Spanish, and delights in gathering friends, both old and new, around a shared table, where the best stories always seem to find her.
